RDPP III has launched a new Localisation Study examining how the programme supports localisation in practice through partnerships, ways of working and operational approaches. The study also reviews progress against the recommendations from the RDPP II localisation study.

The study highlights selected localisation initiatives led by coordination structures in Lebanon and Jordan, as well as efforts supported by RDPP partners and other stakeholders to strengthen an enabling environment for local leadership.

The study’s findings and recommendations are intended to inform dialogue and action among RDPP, donors, civil society organisations, coordination mechanisms and governments, and to support more effective and meaningful localisation outcomes.

To help translate insights into action, RDPP will organise a series of follow-up events in close consultation with partners and stakeholders. These will focus on implementing selected recommendations, encouraging shared learning and strengthening coordination across actors.
