Lebanon is facing one of the most complex and protracted socio-economic crises globally, exacerbated by political instability, the aftermath of the 2020 Beirut port explosion, intermittent conflict, and the continued impact of hosting a large number of Syrian refugees.
Impacted by multiple crisis, more than 80% of the populations in Lebanon now lives below the poverty line, amid critical disruptions in essential services such as healthcare, education, livelihoods, and public infrastructure. The erosion of institutional capacities has further constrained access to basic services, particularly for vulnerable groups, including refugees and vulnerable host communities.
In this context, RDPP engages with a wide range of local partners to address urgent protection needs and advance sustainable livelihoods. The programme supports inclusive, locally driven responses that align with national priorities and reinforce Lebanon’s long-standing commitment to resilience. Below is a list of RDPP-supported partners in Lebanon.
